Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The GKN3 protein, a member of the gastrokine family, has garnered attention in the field of biomedical research due to its potential roles in gastrointestinal health and disease. It is primarily expressed in the gastric epithelium and is thought to play a critical role in protecting the gastric lining and promoting mucosal integrity. Previous studies have suggested that GKN3 may be involved in various physiological processes, including inflammation and cell proliferation, as well as in the pathogenesis of gastric diseases such as gastritis and gastric cancer. Given its protective functions, researchers are investigating the therapeutic potential of GKN3 through recombinant protein studies, aiming to understand its molecular mechanisms and develop strategies for clinical applications. By producing and analyzing GKN3 as a recombinant protein, scientists hope to elucidate its structural characteristics, function in cellular pathways, and interactions with other biomolecules. This research could pave the way for novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches targeting gastric disorders, highlighting GKN3 as a promising candidate for further exploration in gastroenterology.
