Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Angiotensin II (AngII) is a pivotal peptide in the renin-angiotensin system, playing a crucial role in regulating blood pressure, fluid balance, and electrolyte homeostasis. It is formed through the enzymatic activity of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) on angiotensin I, and its binding to angiotensin receptors triggers various physiological responses, including vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion. Given its significant involvement in cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension and heart failure, extensive research has focused on the therapeutic potential of AngII and its analogs. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of AngII variants with modified properties, allowing for the exploration of their effects on the cardiovascular system and potential therapeutic uses. Understanding the structure-function relationship of AngII, along with its interactions with receptor subtypes, provides insights into drug design and the development of new treatments targeting cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. The study of AngII recombinant proteins thus represents a promising avenue for innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the adverse effects of dysregulated AngII signaling in various pathological conditions. This research not only enhances our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying AngII function but also paves the way for the development of novel interventions for related diseases.
