Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LYPD5 (Ly6/PLAUR Domain Containing 5) is a protein that has garnered interest in the fields of immunology and cellular biology due to its potential roles in immune modulation and cellular signaling. Located in the human genome, LYPD5 is part of the Ly-6/uPAR superfamily, which plays crucial roles in cell adhesion, migration, and activation of immune responses. Research has indicated that LYPD5 may influence T cell activation and differentiation, making it a candidate for therapeutic targeting in autoimmune diseases and cancer. Additionally, studies have explored its expression in various tissues, revealing potential links to inflammatory processes. The recombinant version of LYPD5 allows researchers to investigate its functional properties in vitro and in vivo, facilitating a deeper understanding of its biological significance and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Advances in protein engineering and recombinant technology have enabled the production of LYPD5 in sufficient quantities, making it accessible for detailed studies that could elucidate its mechanisms of action and therapeutic implications. Understanding LYPD5's role at the cellular level could pave the way for innovative treatments for a range of immune-related conditions.
