Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RIPK2 (Receptor-interacting protein kinase 2) is a crucial serine/threonine kinase that plays a significant role in the innate immune response, particularly in the signaling pathways activated by pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) recognized by pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) like NOD1 and NOD2. These receptors are vital for detecting bacterial infections and orchestrating inflammatory responses. Research focusing on RIPK2 has unveiled its essential functions in various cellular processes, such as inflammation, cell survival, and apoptosis. Due to its central role in immune signaling, dysregulation of RIPK2 has been implicated in various diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer. Therefore, studying RIPK2 and its signaling mechanisms is of immense interest in both fundamental immunology and therapeutic development. The generation of recombinant RIPK2 protein has facilitated extensive research into its structure, function, and interactions with other proteins, advancing our understanding of its role in disease contexts. By creating and characterizing RIPK2 in vitro, researchers aim to identify potential therapeutic targets and develop novel strategies for modulating immune responses. Overall, RIPK2 continues to be a focal point for research aimed at unraveling the complexities of immune signaling and developing targeted treatments for related diseases.
