Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAN2C1, or Mannosidase 2C1, is a crucial protein in the glycan degradation pathway, primarily involved in the processing of N-glycans during protein maturation in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. Its role in glycoprotein processing is significant, as it contributes to the regulation of protein folding, stability, and function. Dysregulation or mutations in MAN2C1 can lead to various genetic disorders and contribute to the pathology of diseases such as cancer and metabolic syndromes. Recent studies have focused on recombinant MAN2C1 for its potential applications in biotechnology and therapeutic interventions. By producing recombinant forms of MAN2C1, researchers aim to better understand its enzymatic functions, substrate specificity, and structural characteristics. This research could pave the way for developing targeted therapies that manipulate glycosylation patterns for improved protein function or to correct glycosylation defects in inherited disorders. Moreover, exploring MAN2C1's interactions within the glycosylation pathway offers insights into cellular signaling and immune responses, highlighting its importance as a target for drug development and biomolecular engineering. Thus, the study of recombinant MAN2C1 is not only essential for basic science but also holds promise for innovative medical applications and therapeutic strategies.
