稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PGK2 (phosphoglycerate kinase 2) is an enzyme predominantly expressed in the testis and is a member of the phosphoglycerate kinase family, playing a crucial role in the glycolytic pathway. Unlike PGK1, which is ubiquitous and essential for cellular metabolism in various tissues, PGK2 is expressed at high levels during spermatogenesis, suggesting a specialized function in male fertility. Research has indicated that PGK2 may contribute to energy metabolism in sperm cells, influencing their motility and overall function. Given its unique expression pattern and potential role in reproductive health, PGK2 has garnered interest as a candidate for studying male infertility and as a potential target for contraceptive development. Furthermore, advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of PGK2, facilitating detailed biochemical and structural studies. Investigating the properties and interactions of PGK2 through recombinant techniques could provide deeper insights into its function and regulation, ultimately contributing to our understanding of spermatogenesis and male reproductive biology. This research is critical for developing therapeutic approaches to address male infertility and exploring novel contraceptive methods that target specific metabolic pathways.
