Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD36 is a class B scavenger receptor that plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis, insulin resistance, and inflammation. Its ability to bind to a variety of ligands, such as fatty acids and oxidized low-density lipoproteins (oxLDLs), makes it an essential player in the uptake and transport of lipids in tissues. Given its involvement in metabolic diseases, CD36 has become a target for therapeutic interventions aimed at modulating lipid homeostasis and inflammation. Research on recombinant CD36 proteins has been instrumental in elucidating the structural and functional characteristics of this receptor. By generating CD36 in a recombinant form, scientists can study its ligand-binding properties, signaling pathways, and the modulation of its activity in response to different stimuli. Moreover, CD36's role in macrophage function and its interaction with the immune system highlight its potential as a drug target for atherogenesis and metabolic disorders. Overall, the exploration of CD36 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of lipid metabolism and immune response but also opens avenues for developing novel therapeutic strategies for related diseases.
