Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
XRN1 is a key 5' to 3' exonuclease that plays a crucial role in RNA metabolism, including mRNA decay, regulation of gene expression, and the degradation of viral RNA. It is highly conserved across eukaryotes and is implicated in various cellular processes, such as RNA surveillance and the maintenance of RNA quality control. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of XRN1 not only in normal cellular physiology but also in responses to stress and pathogen invasion. The recombination of XRN1 protein has garnered attention for its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in gene therapy and antiviral strategies. By exploring the structural and functional attributes of XRN1, researchers aim to understand its mechanisms in RNA degradation pathways better and develop strategies to manipulate its activity for enhanced therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, recombinant XRN1 can be used as a tool in biochemical assays to study RNA interactions and stability, paving the way for deeper insights into RNA biology and the development of novel RNA-targeted treatments. This growing body of research underscores the significance of XRN1 as a multifunctional enzyme in cellular RNA regulation, positioning it as a promising candidate for further investigation in both basic and applied sciences.
