Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The brkA gene, associated with the regulation of antibiotic resistance in bacteria, has garnered significant attention in microbiological research. It encodes a protein that plays a crucial role in the pathogenicity of various bacterial strains, particularly in the development of resistance against commonly used antibiotics. As antibiotic resistance continues to pose a major global health threat, understanding the function and mechanisms of brkA becomes increasingly important. Researchers have focused on characterizing the brkA recombinant protein to elucidate its role in bacterial virulence and resistance. By employing techniques such as gene cloning, expression in heterologous systems, and functional assays, scientists aim to investigate the biochemical properties and interaction networks of brkA. This research not only provides insights into bacterial adaptability but also helps in the development of new therapeutic strategies aimed at overcoming antibiotic resistance, thereby addressing a critical need in public health. Furthermore, the study of brkA and its recombinant protein could pave the way for novel drug design and treatment approaches, enhancing the effectiveness of existing antibiotics and improving clinical outcomes for infections caused by resistant strains.
