Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPL31, a crucial component of the ribosome, encodes for a ribosomal protein that plays a significant role in protein synthesis and cellular metabolism. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of RPL31 expression has been associated with numerous diseases, such as cancer, where it can influence tumorigenesis and metastasis by modulating the translational landscape of oncogenes and tumor suppressors. Due to its pivotal function in ribosomal assembly and protein synthesis, RPL31 has become a target for research aimed at understanding its structural and functional properties. Investigating the recombinant expression of RPL31 allows for the detailed study of its role in ribosome biogenesis and interaction with ribosomal RNA and other protein factors. Additionally, recombinant RPL31 can be used as a model to explore the effects of post-translational modifications and interactions with other cell signaling pathways. As the nexus of gene regulation and protein synthesis, RPL31 stands out as a potential biomarker for disease states and a target for therapeutic interventions. Thus, research focusing on the recombinant form of RPL31 is essential for uncovering its contributions to fundamental cellular processes and its implications in human health and disease.
