Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AP2a1 (Adaptor Protein Complex 2 Alpha 1) is a crucial component of the clathrin-coated vesicle machinery, which is essential for the endocytic and secretory pathways in eukaryotic cells. Understanding the role of AP2a1 has significant implications for the study of various cellular processes, particularly those related to membrane trafficking, signal transduction, and intracellular communication. Abnormalities in AP2a1 function have been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting the importance of this protein in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and purification of AP2a1, allowing researchers to study its structural and functional characteristics in detail. This research has revealed insights into the protein’s interactions with other cellular components, its role in vesicle formation, and its involvement in cellular response mechanisms. Furthermore, recombinant AP2a1 serves as a valuable tool for drug discovery and therapeutic interventions, offering potential pathways to develop targeted treatments for diseases associated with dysregulation of intracellular trafficking pathways. Overall, the study of AP2a1 and its recombinant protein forms is a promising avenue for enhancing our understanding of cellular dynamics and developing novel therapeutic strategies.
