Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of AGPS (Acyl-Carrier Protein-Dependent Glycerolipid Metabolism) recombinant proteins has gained significant attention in recent years due to their vital role in various biochemical processes, particularly in the synthesis of phospholipids and glycerolipids, which are essential components of cellular membranes. AGPS proteins are key players in the biosynthetic pathways that regulate lipid composition within cells, affecting not only membrane structure but also signaling pathways and cellular metabolism. Dysregulation of AGPS activity has been linked to various diseases, including metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases, highlighting the importance of understanding their function and regulatory mechanisms. Researchers have been focusing on the recombinant expression of AGPS proteins to facilitate in vitro studies, allowing for detailed investigations into their enzymatic activities, substrate specificity, and interactions with other molecules. Additionally, the potential for exploiting AGPS proteins in biotechnological applications, such as the development of novel lipid-based therapeutics and biofuels, makes them an attractive target for further research. Understanding the structural and functional aspects of AGPS proteins through advanced techniques like X-ray crystallography and mass spectrometry can illuminate their roles in lipid metabolism and contribute to the discovery of innovative strategies for disease intervention and sustainable resource development.
