  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TIFA, or TRIF-Related Adaptor Molecule, is a crucial protein involved in innate immunity and inflammatory responses, particularly in the context of Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathways. Research into TIFA has gained momentum due to its significant role in mediating the cellular response to various pathogens, including viruses and bacteria. TIFA acts as an adaptor molecule that facilitates the signaling cascade, leading to the activation of transcription factors like NF-κB and IRFs, which are vital for the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and antiviral responses. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of TIFA as a therapeutic target in treating autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammatory conditions. Additionally, the ability to produce recombinant TIFA protein has opened avenues for further investigations into its structure-function relationship, interaction with other signaling components, and its broader implications in immune modulation. Understanding the mechanistic pathways involving TIFA not only enhances our knowledge of immune responses but also provides insights for developing novel immunotherapies aimed at regulating inflammation and improving host defense mechanisms. As researchers continue to explore the intricate interplay between TIFA and various cellular processes, it becomes increasingly clear that TIFA is not only a crucial player in immune responses but also a promising candidate for therapeutic interventions in immune-related disorders.
