Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP2F2 is a member of the cytochrome P450 enzyme family, which plays a critical role in the metabolism of various endogenous and exogenous compounds, including drugs and environmental toxins. Research on CYP2F2 has garnered interest due to its potential implications in pharmacogenomics, toxicology, and disease susceptibility. It is primarily expressed in the human lung, where it is involved in the metabolism of pulmonary toxicants and the biotransformation of certain inhaled drugs. Variability in enzyme activity among individuals can lead to differences in drug efficacy and toxicity, highlighting the necessity for a deeper understanding of its functional properties and genetic variation. Moreover, CYP2F2 has been linked to the metabolism of nicotine and other components of tobacco smoke, making it a relevant target for studies aimed at understanding smoking-related diseases. The recombinant expression of CYP2F2 allows researchers to study its biochemical characteristics, substrate specificity, and interaction with inhibitors or inducers, facilitating the assessment of its role in personalized medicine and public health. Advancements in recombinant protein technology enable the production of sufficient quantities of CYP2F2 for functional assays, aiding in the development of therapeutic strategies and the evaluation of risks associated with xenobiotic exposure. Overall, the study of CYP2F2 recombinant protein is pivotal for elucidating its involvement in metabolic pathways and for advancing our knowledge of interindividual variability in drug metabolism and disease risk.
