  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TXNDC12, or Thioredoxin Domain Containing 12, is a member of the thioredoxin family involved in the regulation of redox homeostasis and cellular stress responses. As a vital cellular component, TXNDC12 plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including protein folding, antioxidant defense, and the modulation of signaling pathways. Dysregulation of TXNDC12 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it an important target for therapeutic intervention. Recent research has focused on elucidating the structure-function relationship of TXNDC12, its interaction with other cellular proteins, and its role in disease mechanisms. Recombinant TXNDC12 protein has been generated to facilitate these studies, allowing for detailed analysis of its biochemical properties and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The development of TXNDC12 as a recombinantly expressed protein opens avenues for investigating its impact on cellular functions and its potential role in therapeutic strategies. By further understanding TXNDC12 and its related pathways, researchers aim to uncover novel insights into disease progression and identify new avenues for treatment.
