Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Vaspin, a member of the serpin superfamily, is a novel adipokine that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in metabolic disorders such as obesity and type 2 diabetes. Identified as a serine protease inhibitor secreted by adipose tissue, Vaspin has been shown to exert insulin-sensitizing effects, making it a focus of interest in obesity-related research. The discovery of Vaspin was motivated by the growing prevalence of metabolic syndrome, which is closely linked to adipose tissue dysfunction. Researchers have investigated the mechanisms underlying Vaspin's effects on glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity, revealing its potential to improve metabolic profiles in obese individuals. Additionally, its expression levels are altered in various pathological states, further indicating its relevance in metabolic regulation. As a result, the recombinant production of Vaspin has become a significant area of study, enabling the exploration of its functional properties and therapeutic potential. This research not only enhances our understanding of adipose-derived factors but also opens avenues for developing targeted treatments for metabolic diseases.
