Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BARD1 (BRCA1 Associated RING Domain 1) is a crucial tumor suppressor protein that plays a significant role in DNA damage repair, particularly in the context of breast and ovarian cancers. It is known for its interaction with BRCA1, where it assists in homologous recombination repair and the maintenance of genomic stability. Research into BARD1 recombinant protein focuses on understanding its structure, function, and interactions at the molecular level. A deeper insight into BARD1 can provide valuable information about its role in carcinogenesis and the mechanisms underlying certain hereditary cancer syndromes. Moreover, elucidating the functional dynamics of BARD1 may pave the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies and biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, particularly in BRCA1/2 mutation carriers. By producing BARD1 as a recombinant protein, scientists can investigate its biochemical properties, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other proteins involved in DNA repair pathways. This research is crucial not only for unraveling the complexities of cancer biology but also for advancing precision medicine approaches that target specific molecular pathways involved in tumorigenesis.
