Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lyz2, or lysozyme 2, is a member of the lysozyme family of enzymes found in various organisms, playing a crucial role in innate immunity. It has antimicrobial properties, particularly against Gram-positive bacteria, making it an important protein in the study of host defense mechanisms. The research on Lyz2 recombinant proteins has gained traction due to their potential applications in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. By producing Lyz2 in a recombinant form, researchers can study its structure-function relationship, explore its enzymatic activity, and evaluate its effectiveness as a therapeutic agent or a food preservative. The use of recombinant technology offers advantages such as higher yield, enhanced stability, and the ability to modify the protein for improved efficacy. Additionally, Lyz2 has been implicated in various physiological processes beyond its antimicrobial functions, including inflammation and tissue repair, which further broadens the scope of its research. Understanding Lyz2's mechanisms and applications can lead to innovative strategies in disease prevention and treatment, underscoring its significance in both scientific research and clinical applications. The ongoing studies aim to elucidate the complexities of Lyz2 interactions within biological systems, paving the way for novel therapeutic interventions.
