Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1) is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in angiogenesis, the process of new blood vessel formation, which is essential for maintaining vascular stability and regulating inflammation. It is part of the Angiopoietin/Tie signaling pathway, where Ang-1 binds to its receptor Tie-2, facilitating vascular maturation and stabilization. Research has highlighted Ang-1's potential in therapeutic applications, particularly in conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and wound healing, where angiogenesis is often disrupted. Recombinant Angiopoietin-1 proteins are being studied for their ability to enhance endothelial cell survival, proliferation, and migration, ultimately promoting healthy blood vessel formation. Additionally, Ang-1's anti-inflammatory properties are of interest, as they could mitigate tissue injury and promote repair mechanisms. As scientists explore the molecular mechanisms underlying Ang-1's functions, recombinant protein technology offers opportunities for developing novel treatments that harness the protective effects of Ang-1, making it a promising candidate in regenerative medicine and vascular therapy.
