  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TREM-1 (Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 1) is an immunoreceptor primarily expressed on myeloid cells, playing a crucial role in amplifying inflammatory responses and modulating immune function. The significance of TREM-1 in various pathological conditions, including sepsis, autoimmune diseases, and cancer, has spurred interest in its structure and function. Research has revealed that TREM-1 can act as a key mediator in the inflammatory cascade, influencing the activation and survival of immune cells. The development of recombinant TREM-1 proteins has opened new avenues for studying its biochemical properties and potential therapeutic applications. By producing TREM-1 in a recombinant form, researchers can investigate its interactions with ligands, downstream signaling pathways, and the mechanism behind its role in inflammation. Furthermore, recombinant TREM-1 proteins present opportunities for the development of diagnostic tools and novel treatments aimed at modulating immune responses. Therefore, understanding the molecular characteristics and functional implications of TREM-1 through recombinant protein studies is essential for harnessing its potential in clinical settings and for designing strategies to manipulate immune responses in various diseases.
