Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C20orf81, also known as the chromosome 20 open reading frame 81, has emerged as a significant focus in molecular biology research due to its potential roles in various cellular processes and its association with human diseases. This protein is encoded by a gene located on chromosome 20, and studies have suggested that it may play a role in cellular metabolism, signaling pathways, and cellular responses to stress. Initial investigations into C20orf81 indicated that it could be involved in the pathogenesis of certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, although its exact biological function remains largely elusive. Given that many proteins with unknown functions may hold key insights into disease mechanisms, the recombinant expression of C20orf81 is being pursued to better understand its structure and function. By producing this protein in a controlled laboratory setting, researchers aim to elucidate its interactions with other cellular components, investigate potential post-translational modifications, and explore its role in specific signaling pathways. The study of recombinant C20orf81 could provide critical insights into its function and open new avenues for therapeutic interventions in diseases where this protein may play a pivotal role. The growing interest in this protein highlights the importance of further research to uncover the complexities of its biological activities and implications for human health.
