Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C21orf62, also known as chromosome 21 open reading frame 62, is a relatively novel gene located on chromosome 21 that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes. Initial studies suggest that C21orf62 may be implicated in key cellular functions, including cell proliferation and differentiation, possibly influencing the pathophysiology of conditions such as Down syndrome, given its chromosomal location. Its expression patterns and functional significance in different tissues, particularly in the nervous system, indicate that it may play a role in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. The protein encoded by C21orf62 is characterized by specific domains that suggest a role in protein-protein interactions, raising the possibility of its involvement in signaling pathways and cellular stress responses. Research into the recombinant expression of C21orf62 protein aims to elucidate its biochemical properties, functional roles, and potential interactions with other cellular components, thereby providing insights into its biological significance. Recombinant proteins derived from C21orf62 could serve as valuable tools for studying its mechanisms of action and exploring its therapeutic potential in disease contexts, particularly in syndromes associated with chromosome 21 abnormalities. This growing body of research underscores the need for comprehensive investigations into the structure-function relationships of C21orf62 and its implications in health and disease.
