Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C2orf49, also known as Chromosome 2 Open Reading Frame 49, is a gene located on chromosome 2 that has garnered attention due to its potential role in various biological processes and possible implications in human health. Initially identified through genomic studies, C2orf49 has been linked to several cellular functions, including stress response, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Research has suggested that the protein encoded by this gene may interact with other cellular factors, but its exact biological role remains largely elusive. Given the emerging evidence surrounding its involvement in diseases, especially in cancer and other pathological conditions, there is a growing interest in studying C2orf49 at a molecular level. Recombinant protein expression of C2orf49 offers a valuable tool for elucidating its functional properties, facilitating investigations into its interactions with other proteins, and exploring its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Current studies aim to optimize the production and purification of the C2orf49 recombinant protein in various expression systems, which may lead to significant insights into its biological functions and contributions to disease mechanisms. Understanding the role of C2orf49 could provide new avenues for therapeutic interventions and enhance our comprehension of the complex regulatory networks involved in cell biology.
