  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Reg1 protein, also known as regenerating protein 1, belongs to a family of proteins typically involved in cellular response to stress and tissue regeneration. Originally identified in the pancreatic tissue of regenerating or injured organs, Reg1 is known for its role in promoting cellular growth and division, making it a subject of interest in regenerative medicine and oncology. Studies have indicated that Reg1 is upregulated in various pathological conditions, such as diabetes and cancer, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for disease progression. Researchers have focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying Reg1 function, including its effects on cellular signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins. Additionally, Reg1's involvement in immune responses points to its significance in inflammatory diseases. Given the rising interest in therapeutic applications, such as engineered Reg1 recombinant proteins, ongoing investigations aim to elucidate its structural properties and biological activities to harness its regenerative potential in clinical settings. Overall, Reg1 stands as a promising candidate for further exploration in the quest for innovative treatments for various diseases.
