The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor (HGFR), also known as MET, is a crucial receptor tyrosine kinase involved in various cellular processes, including proliferation, survival, and migration. The ligand for this receptor, Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF), is primarily secreted by fibroblasts and is essential for embryonic development, tissue repair, and organ regeneration. Abnormal HGFR signaling is implicated in several pathologies, particularly in cancer, where overexpression or mutation of HGFR contributes to tumor growth, metastasis, and poor prognosis. Research into HGFR has intensified in recent years, focusing on developing targeted therapies to inhibit its activity in cancer and other diseases. Recombinant HGFR proteins are being studied not only to further understand the receptor's biology and its interactions but also as potential therapeutic agents. These studies may lead to new diagnostic markers or treatment strategies that leverage the specific pathways mediated by HGFR. Additionally, understanding the structure-function relationship of HGFR through recombinant protein techniques can unveil novel insights into its role in health and disease. The increasing importance of targeted therapies has catalyzed the efforts to explore HGFR as a promising therapeutic target, thus enhancing the overall interest in HGFR recombinant protein studies.
