Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SDH1, or succinate dehydrogenase subunit A, is a critical enzyme in the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle and the electron transport chain, playing a dual role in cellular metabolism and energy production. The gene encoding SDH1 has garnered considerable attention in research due to its involvement in various metabolic disorders and cancers, particularly those related to mitochondrial dysfunction. Mutations in the SDH1 gene can lead to the accumulation of succinate, a metabolite implicated in tumorigenesis and the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome. As a result, understanding the structural and functional properties of the SDH1 protein is essential for elucidating its role in metabolic pathways and pathophysiological conditions. Researchers have focused on the recombinant expression and characterization of SDH1 proteins to explore their enzymatic activity, stability, and potential as therapeutic targets. By studying the recombinant forms of SDH1, scientists aim to develop strategies for modulating its activity, which could have implications for designing innovative treatments for associated diseases, including certain types of cancer. Overall, SDH1 remains a focal point within metabolic research, offering insights that could lead to significant clinical advancements.
