Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH19, a member of the cadherin superfamily, plays a crucial role in neural development and the formation of synapses in the central nervous system. Mutations in the CDH19 gene have been associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly those involving intellectual disabilities and epilepsy. Research on CDH19 recombinant proteins is motivated by the need to understand the mechanisms of cell adhesion in the brain and how disruptions in these processes can lead to pathological conditions. By studying CDH19, scientists aim to unveil its structural and functional properties, which could provide insights into its role in synaptic integrity and plasticity. Furthermore, the generation of recombinant CDH19 proteins allows for biochemical assays and structural analyses that can elucidate interactions with other cellular components and signaling pathways. Understanding these interactions is essential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting neurodevelopmental disorders linked to CDH19. Overall, the study of CDH19 recombinant proteins is pivotal for dissecting the complexities of neural connectivity and its implications for neural health and disease.
