Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCFD1 (S-phase Cyclin-F-Dependent Kinase) is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in the regulation of the cell cycle and DNA repair mechanisms. Its role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system is essential for maintaining protein homeostasis, impacting numerous signaling pathways that govern cell proliferation and apoptosis. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in cancer biology, as aberrations in SCFD1 expression or function can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and tumorigenesis. Additionally, SCFD1 is implicated in the response to DNA damage, where it collaborates with other proteins to facilitate repair processes, ensuring genomic stability. This makes SCFD1 a target of interest for therapeutic intervention in cancer and other diseases characterized by cell cycle dysregulation. Understanding the structure-function relationship of SCFD1 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its molecular mechanisms and enhance the development of novel strategies aimed at modulating its activity for clinical applications. As research progresses, SCFD1's potential as a biomarker for cancer prognosis and a target for drug development becomes increasingly significant, underscoring the importance of comprehensively studying this protein in cell biology and oncology.
