Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The STK40 protein, a member of the serine/threonine kinase family, has garnered significant attention due to its potential roles in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Research suggests that STK40 may be involved in critical signaling pathways, impacting diseases such as cancer and metabolic disorders. Given its kinase activity, STK40 is hypothesized to phosphorylate specific substrates, thus modulating their function and contributing to cellular homeostasis. Furthermore, studies indicate that dysregulation of STK40 expression or activity could be linked to abnormal cellular behaviors, making it a candidate for therapeutic targeting. Recombinant STK40 protein is instrumental for detailed biochemical assays and structural studies, allowing researchers to investigate its enzymatic properties, interaction with substrates, and regulation mechanisms. Understanding the molecular functions of STK40 through recombinant techniques is pivotal in elucidating its role in health and disease, potentially paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that harness or inhibit its activity.
