  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SATB1 (Special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 1) is a multifunctional nuclear protein that plays a critical role in chromatin organization, gene regulation, and cellular differentiation. It is notably involved in the orchestration of genomic architecture by binding to specific AT-rich regions of the genome, thereby facilitating the formation of chromatin loops and the spatial arrangement of genes within the nucleus. Research has increasingly demonstrated that SATB1 is pivotal in various biological processes, including T-cell development and immune responses, as well as in the regulation of genes associated with cell proliferation and metastatic potential in cancer. Dysregulation or aberrant expression of SATB1 has been implicated in several diseases, particularly in breast cancer and other malignancies, where it can act as an oncogene contributing to tumor progression and poor prognosis. Studies involving SATB1 recombinant proteins have provided insights into its functional domains and interaction with other nuclear factors, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions. By understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying SATB1's activities and its role in disease pathology, researchers aim to harness this knowledge for developing targeted treatments and enhancing diagnostic tools for cancer and other related disorders, making it a significant focus within the fields of molecular biology and oncology.
