Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EHD2 (EH domain-containing protein 2) is a member of the EHD protein family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and organelle dynamics. Research into EHD2 has gained traction due to its involvement in cellular responses to stress and its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders. EHD2 functions primarily by interacting with other proteins and lipid membranes, facilitating the formation and maturation of endocytic vesicles. The protein is characterized by its EH domain, which enables binding to specific lipids and proteins, thereby regulating endosomal recycling and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis. Furthermore, EHD2 has been implicated in the modulation of cellular signaling pathways, making it a significant focus for understanding the molecular mechanisms of cell regulation. Recent studies have shown that EHD2 also plays a role in orchestrating the response to mechanical stress, further highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular integrity. Given its multifaceted roles in cellular processes, investigating the recombinant expression and functional characterization of EHD2 can provide valuable insights into its physiological functions and potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding EHD2’s specific mechanisms and interactions can help elucidate its contribution to cellular health and disease pathophysiology, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in various pathological conditions.
