  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The TOM1 protein, known as Target of Myb1 protein 1, plays a pivotal role in the regulation of various biological processes, particularly in cellular stress responses and signal transduction pathways. Initially identified in the context of plant biology, TOM1 has garnered attention for its involvement in plant immunity and interactions with pathogens. Recent research has unveiled its significance in modulating the activity of key transcription factors, thereby influencing gene expression related to stress tolerance. The understanding of TOM1's function has broad implications, not only for agricultural biotechnology aimed at enhancing crop resilience but also for elucidating fundamental mechanisms of protein interactions and cellular responses in eukaryotic cells. Further investigations into TOM1's structure and function may provide valuable insights into its role as a potential target for genetic engineering and could lead to the development of novel strategies for improving plant health and productivity in changing environmental conditions. Additionally, the conservation of TOM1-like proteins across various species raises intriguing questions regarding their evolutionary significance and functional diversification in differing biological contexts. Consequently, research on TOM1 and its derivatives continues to be an active area of exploration, promising advancements in both fundamental science and applied agricultural techniques.
