Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
USP12, a member of the ubiquitin-specific peptidase family, plays a critical role in the regulation of protein degradation and recycling through the ubiquitin-proteasome system. The study of USP12 is particularly significant due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, DNA repair, and responses to stress, which are vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Additionally, USP12 has been implicated in cancer progression, as it can modulate the stability of key oncoproteins and tumor suppressors by reversing ubiquitination. This regulatory function positions USP12 as a potential therapeutic target in cancer treatment strategies. Recent advancements in structural biology have provided insights into the enzymatic mechanisms of USP12, revealing its unique active site and substrate specificity. Furthermore, the development of selective inhibitors against USP12 could enhance the understanding of its biological roles and pave the way for novel cancer therapies. Overall, ongoing research into USP12 recombinant protein not only aims to elucidate its molecular functions but also to explore its potential in clinical applications, highlighting its importance in the field of cellular biology and oncology.
