稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MUC17, a member of the mucin family of glycoproteins, has emerged as a significant focus of research due to its role in epithelial cell protection, immune response modulation, and tumor biology. Mucins are high molecular weight glycoproteins known for their gel-forming properties, primarily found in various epithelial tissues including the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, and reproductive organs. The MUC17 gene, located on chromosome 7, is particularly interesting because it is involved in cell signaling, adhesion, and interaction with pathogens. Recent studies suggest that MUC17 expression is upregulated in certain cancers, indicating its potential involvement in tumor progression and metastasis. Researchers are also exploring the use of MUC17 as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis. The production and study of recombinant MUC17 protein are essential for elucidating its functional properties, structure-function relationship, and role in pathophysiological processes. Understanding MUC17's mechanisms could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches targeting tumor growth and improving immune responses in various diseases. Thus, the investigation of MUC17 is crucial for advancing our knowledge of mucin biology and its implications in human health and disease.
