Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SSH2 (Slingshot protein phosphatase 2) is a member of the SSH family of proteins that plays a crucial role in actin cytoskeleton remodeling and cell signaling. It functions primarily as a phosphatase, regulating the activity of Rho GTPases, which are pivotal in controlling various cellular processes, including motility, proliferation, and apoptosis. Recent studies have indicated that SSH2 is involved in the pathogenesis of multiple diseases, including cancer, where its dysregulation can contribute to tumorigenesis and metastasis. The investigation of SSH2's structure and function has garnered significant interest due to its potential as a therapeutic target. Researchers have focused on characterizing the protein's enzymatic activity, its interaction with other signaling molecules, and the downstream effects of SSH2-mediated dephosphorylation. The recombinant expression and purification of SSH2 allow for in-depth biochemical and structural analyses, facilitating the understanding of its role in cellular dynamics. Moreover, insights gained from SSH2 studies may pave the way for novel interventions in diseases linked to cytoskeletal abnormalities, highlighting the protein's significance in both fundamental biology and clinical applications.
