Gene name
IL-23R
-
简介
IL-23R protein and IL12RB1 form interleukin 23 receptor, which is the key binding site of IL23. IL-23R mediates stimulation of T cells, NK cells, and possibly macrophages/myeloid cells, activating the Jak-Stat signaling cascade. IL-23R Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived IL-23R protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.
- Application
-
Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mouse IL-23 R is immobilized at 5 µg/mL (100 µL/well) the concentration of Recombinant Mouse IL‑ 23 that produces 50% of optimal binding response is approximately 5- 25 ng/mL.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-23 receptor (IL-23R) is a critical component of the immune system, playing a significant role in the regulation of inflammatory responses. It primarily binds to interleukin-23 (IL-23), a cytokine involved in the differentiation and proliferation of T-helper 17 (Th17) cells, which are crucial in various autoimmune diseases, including psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and multiple sclerosis. Studies have shown that genetic polymorphisms in the IL-23R gene are associated with an increased susceptibility to these conditions, highlighting its importance as a therapeutic target. The production of recombinant IL-23R protein can provide valuable insights into its structure and function, enabling researchers to explore its signaling pathways and interactions with IL-23. This recombinant protein can be used in various applications, including drug development and the creation of targeted therapies that modulate immune responses. Understanding the role of IL-23R in chronic inflammation and autoimmune disorders could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating these conditions, thereby improving patient outcomes.
