简介
RANK (TNFRSF11A) is a receptor activator of nuclear factor κB (NF-κB), which is involved in bone metabolism and immune system function. RANK is mainly expressed by osteoblasts/stromal cells, and is associated with the formation of giant cell tumor of bone (GCTBs) [1]. RANK combined with RANKL ligand activated the RANKL/RANK/ OPG system to regulate bone resorption [2]. RANKL/RANK is also a regulator of dendritic cell (DC)-T cell interaction, which is associated with mammary epithelial formation and central nervous system thermoregulation in lactating female [3][4]. RANK/TNFRSF11A Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) produced by HEK293 cells with C-terminal His-tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RANK (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κB) and its ligand RANKL play pivotal roles in the regulation of osteoclastogenesis, bone metabolism, and immune responses. RANK is a member of the TNFRSF11A (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 11A), which is crucial for various biological processes. The interaction between RANK and RANKL is essential for osteoclast differentiation and activation, making it a significant target for understanding bone-related diseases such as osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Furthermore, RANK signaling is implicated in the development and progression of certain cancers, particularly breast and prostate cancer, where it contributes to metastasis and tumor microenvironment interactions. The production of recombinant RANK/TNFRSF11A proteins allows researchers to explore its molecular mechanisms in vitro and in vivo, facilitating the identification of potential therapeutic targets. Studies involving RANK/TNFRSF11A recombinant proteins not only enhance our understanding of bone biology but also pave the way for novel interventions in bone diseases and cancer treatment, emphasizing the importance of RANK signaling pathways in health and disease.
