简介
NKp30/NCR3 protein is a cell membrane receptor on natural killer (NK) cells that activates cytotoxicity by binding to ligands such as BAG6 and NCR3LG1, stimulating NK cells to respond against neighboring cells (including tumor cells) expressing these ligands. NKp30/NCR3 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived NKp30/NCR3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Rat NKp30/NCR3 is immobilized at 10 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Recombinant Human B7-H6. The ED50 for this effect is 42.39 ng/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NKp30, also known as NCR3 (Natural Cytotoxicity Receptor 3), is a pivotal activating receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells, playing a critical role in the immune response against tumors and viral infections. Research into NKp30/NCR3 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in cancer immunotherapy. Functionally, NKp30 interacts with various ligands found on tumor cells, leading to the activation of NK cells, which are essential for the recognition and lysis of malignant cells. The receptor's engagement is associated with the release of cytotoxic cytokines, enhancing the immune response. However, cancer cells often exploit mechanisms to downregulate or evade NK cell recognition, including the loss of NKp30 expression or the secretion of immunosuppressive factors. Understanding the structure and function of NKp30/NCR3, as well as its signaling pathways, is crucial for developing innovative therapeutic strategies that can reinvigorate NK cell activity against cancer. Additionally, recombinant NKp30 proteins are being investigated for their potential use in diagnostic and therapeutic applications, providing insights into the receptor's role in immune modulation. Thus, the study of NKp30/NCR3 is essential for harnessing the full potential of NK cells in immunotherapy, offering promising avenues for enhancing anti-tumor immunity and improving clinical outcomes in cancer patients.
