    The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Protein Description

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR-γ) is a nuclear receptor that plays a critical role in the regulation of fatty acid metabolism and glucose homeostasis. As a member of the PPAR family, PPAR-γ is highly expressed in adipose tissue and is pivotal for adipogenesis, the process through which pre-adipocytes differentiate into mature adipocytes. Its activation by endogenous ligands, such as fatty acids and eicosanoids, as well as pharmaceutical agents like thiazolidinediones, enhances insulin sensitivity and is implicated in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Research has shown that PPAR-γ also influences other critical biological processes, including inflammation and cell proliferation, linking it to various pathologies beyond metabolic disorders, such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Given its significant role in metabolic regulation and pathological conditions, recombinant PPAR-γ protein has become an important tool for studying its functional mechanisms, ligand interactions, and the effects of specific mutations. By producing and characterizing recombinant PPAR-γ, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationships and therapeutic potentials, paving the way for novel treatments that target PPAR-γ pathways.
