  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HABP2, or Hyaluronidase-type protein 2, is a protein associated with various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue repair and inflammation. Its role in degrading hyaluronic acid, a vital component of the extracellular matrix, has garnered attention for potential implications in cancer progression and metastasis, as well as in the modulation of inflammatory responses. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of HABP2 in tumor microenvironments, where its enzymatic activity may facilitate tumor cell invasion and migration by altering the matrix composition. Additionally, HABP2 has been implicated in the regulation of immune cell function, suggesting its dual role in promoting tumor immunity and suppressing inflammation. Understanding the structural features and functional mechanisms of HABP2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its biological roles and therapeutic potential. As a result, research into HABP2 not only aids in elucidating pathways that underpin tumorigenesis but also paves the way for developing novel interventions that target its activities, thereby contributing to more effective cancer therapies and treatments for inflammatory diseases.
