简介
Rab2A belongs to the Rab family, it is a small molecular weight guanosine triphosphatases (GTPases) and membrane-bound protein which involved in GTP binding and hydrolysis and are key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes, Rab2A is required for protein transport from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the Golgi complex as well. Rab2A also regulates the compacted morphology of the Golgi. RAB2 Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived RAB2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB2 is a member of the RAS superfamily of small GTPases, playing a crucial role in various cellular processes, including intracellular vesicle trafficking, protein sorting, and membrane dynamics. It is predominantly localized to the Golgi apparatus and is implicated in the regulation of anterograde transport from the Golgi to the plasma membrane. Research has shown that RAB2 is necessary for the proper functioning of secretory pathways, where it influences the movement of cargo proteins and lipids. Dysregulation of RAB2 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, highlighting its significance in pathological conditions. Recombination and production of RAB2 as a recombinant protein allow for in-depth functional studies, providing insights into its molecular mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. Characterizing RAB2 can facilitate the understanding of its role in cellular homeostasis and its potential as a therapeutic target. The development of RAB2 recombinant proteins has also enabled the exploration of its structural properties, helping to elucidate how mutations may lead to dysfunctional pathways. Overall, the study of RAB2 recombinant protein offers valuable information about its contributions to cell biology and disease mechanisms.
