Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANGPTL3, or Angiopoietin-like 3, is a protein that plays a significant role in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health. It is primarily produced by the liver and is implicated in regulating triglyceride levels in the bloodstream. Research has shown that ANGPTL3 functions as an inhibitor of lipoprotein lipase (LPL), an enzyme vital for the hydrolysis of triglycerides in lipoproteins, thereby influencing overall lipid profiles. Dysregulation of ANGPTL3 has been linked to various metabolic disorders, including dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis, making it a potential therapeutic target for cardiovascular disease. Recent studies have focused on the development of recombinant ANGPTL3 proteins to investigate their structural properties and functional roles in lipid metabolism. These recombinant proteins are essential for elucidating the mechanisms by which ANGPTL3 affects triglyceride levels and for screening potential pharmacological agents that can modulate its activity. Understanding the function of ANGPTL3 and its influence on lipid metabolism could lead to innovative treatments for diseases associated with lipid dysregulation, positioning it as a promising area of research in metabolic health and cardiovascular risk management.
