简介
MEPE/OF45 Protein, pivotal in regulating renal phosphate and uric acid excretion, influences bone mineralization in osteoblasts and chondrocytes, with notable effects on craniofacial structures. Its role in dental pulp stem cell proliferation is significant. MEPE/OF45's interaction with PHEX, mediated by its ASARM motif, is zinc-dependent, adding complexity to its regulatory functions. MEPE/OF45 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived MEPE/OF45 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MEPE (Matrix Extracellular Phosphoglycoprotein) and OF45 (Osteo Fibroblast 45) are important biomolecules involved in bone development and mineralization processes. MEPE is known for its role in regulating osteoblast and osteoclast function, which are crucial for maintaining bone homeostasis. It acts by binding calcium and promoting mineralization, while also regulating the release of phosphate, thus influencing hydroxyapatite formation in the bone matrix. OF45, on the other hand, is associated with bone formation and regeneration; it serves as a modulator of osteoblastic activity. The study of MEPE and OF45 recombinant proteins has garnered significant interest in the field of bone biology and regenerative medicine, particularly for their potential therapeutic applications in treating bone-related disorders such as osteoporosis and fractures. Understanding the molecular mechanisms behind their functions could pave the way for developing novel treatments aimed at enhancing bone healing and growth. Additionally, the production of recombinant MEPE and OF45 proteins allows researchers to investigate their structure-function relationships and to identify potential interactions with other signaling pathways involved in bone metabolism. Overall, the investigation of MEPE and OF45 recombinant proteins represents a promising avenue in enhancing our understanding of bone biology and developing innovative approaches for the treatment of skeletal diseases.
