  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CDKN3 (Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 3) is a critical regulator of the cell cycle, primarily known for its role in inhibiting cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), which are essential for the progression of cells from the G1 phase to the S phase. Dysregulation of CDKN3 has been implicated in various cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for tumorigenesis and a candidate for therapeutic targeting. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of CDKN3 to better understand its structural and functional properties, as well as its interactions with other proteins involved in cell cycle regulation. By producing recombinant CDKN3, researchers aim to investigate its mechanism of action, the effects of post-translational modifications, and its potential role in different cellular contexts. This research could provide insights into how CDKN3's inhibitory functions can be modulated, paving the way for the development of novel cancer treatments that leverage CDKN3's regulatory capabilities. Moreover, understanding the precise mechanisms by which CDKN3 exerts its effects could lead to advancements in therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring its function in tumors with CDKN3 dysregulation. Overall, the study of recombinant CDKN3 presents a valuable opportunity to elucidate the complexities of cell cycle control and its implications in cancer biology.
