  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PRKCH, or Protein Kinase C Eta, is a member of the Protein Kinase C (PKC) family of serine/threonine kinases, which play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Research into PRKCH has gained traction due to its involvement in several pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders. Unlike other PKC isoforms, PRKCH is expressed predominantly in the brain and immune cells, suggesting a potential role in neuroinflammatory responses and neuroprotection. The ability of PRKCH to mediate diverse signaling pathways makes it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have focused on the structural characterization and functional analysis of PRKCH, aiming to understand its regulatory mechanisms and interactions with various cellular partners. Investigating PRKCH as a recombinant protein offers insights into its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and potential as a pharmacological target. Furthermore, the exploration of PRKCH's role in cellular signaling pathways may lead to novel strategies for treating diseases where PKC dysregulation is implicated. As such, the ongoing research into PRKCH not only enhances our understanding of its biological significance but also opens avenues for developing targeted therapies aimed at modulating its activity in various diseases.
