  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PTPRS (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type S) is an important enzyme implicated in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, differentiation, and proliferation. Research has highlighted its dual role as both a tumor suppressor and an oncogene, depending on the context of its expression and activity. Dysregulation of PTPRS has been associated with various cancers, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Moreover, understanding the structural and functional characteristics of PTPRS is crucial for elucidating its mechanisms in cellular communication and its impact on oncogenesis. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and study of PTPRS, enabling researchers to investigate its biochemical properties and interactome in detail. The development of functional assays to evaluate PTPRS activity and its interactions with downstream signaling pathways continues to be a focal point of research. By characterizing PTPRS and its role within the cellular microenvironment, scientists aim to uncover novel insights into its function in health and disease, ultimately paving the way for the development of targeted therapies aimed at modulating its activity in cancer and other diseases.
