Lymphocyte antigen 86/MD-1
-
简介
Lymphocyte antigen 86/MD-1 acts synergistically with CD180 and TLR4 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and influence cytokine production. It plays a crucial role in promoting the high expression of CD180 on the cell surface, forming an M-shaped tetramer with two CD180-LY86 heterodimers.Lymphocyte antigen 86/MD-1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Lymphocyte antigen 86/MD-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lymphocyte antigen 86 (Ly86), also known as MD-1, is a member of the scavenger receptor family and plays a crucial role in the immune system, particularly in the regulation of B-cell activation and differentiation. It is primarily expressed in immune cells, including B lymphocytes and dendritic cells, where it interacts with various receptors, influencing their function and response to pathogens. The study of recombinant Ly86/MD-1 proteins has gained attention due to their potential therapeutic implications in modulating immune responses, particularly in conditions like autoimmune diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. By understanding the structure and function of Ly86/MD-1, researchers aim to leverage its properties to enhance or suppress immune responses strategically. Additionally, the recombinant protein can serve as a valuable tool for investigating receptor-ligand interactions, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying immune cell signaling. The development of Ly86/MD-1 recombinant proteins facilitates the exploration of their roles in immune tolerance and activation, contributing to the design of innovative immunotherapies and vaccines. As the field of immunology continues to evolve, the exploration of Ly86/MD-1 not only sheds light on fundamental biological processes, but also opens avenues for developing novel strategies to manipulate immune responses for therapeutic gain.
