Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ROBO2 (Roundabout 2) is a critical member of the Robo family of cell surface receptors that play essential roles in axon guidance, neuronal connectivity, and various developmental processes in the nervous system. It is primarily known for its function in mediating repulsive interactions with the Slit family of ligands, which are pivotal during neural development, particularly in the formation of neural pathways and the establishment of proper brain architecture. Research has indicated that ROBO2 also contributes to the regulation of cellular migration and the integrity of the blood-brain barrier. Dysfunctional ROBO2 signaling has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and certain forms of cancer. As such, studying ROBO2 recombinant proteins can provide insights into its structural and functional properties, aiding in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying its role in disease. The production and characterization of ROBO2 recombinant proteins not only facilitate the exploration of its interactions with Slit ligands but also allow for potential therapeutic applications in modulating ROBO2 signaling pathways. Furthermore, this research can contribute to the development of biomarkers for early diagnosis and novel treatment strategies for conditions linked to ROBO2 dysregulation. Overall, the study of ROBO2 recombinant proteins is significant for advancing our knowledge in neurobiology and can pave the way for innovative therapeutic approaches targeting ROBO2-related pathways.
