简介
Semaphorin-6A (SEMA6A) is the cell surface receptor for PLXNA2 and plays a key role in intercellular signaling. Its importance extends to the coordination of normal granule cell migration within the developing cerebellum and the promotion of actin cytoskeletal reorganization, which is critical for axonal guidance in the developing central nervous system. Semaphorin-6A/SEMA6A Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived Semaphorin-6A/SEMA6A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Semaphorin-6A (SEMA6A) is a member of the semaphorin family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including axon guidance, neuronal differentiation, and immune responses. Initially identified for its function in the nervous system, SEMA6A has also been implicated in the regulation of cellular interactions and signaling pathways in different tissues. Research has indicated that SEMA6A can influence cell adhesion, migration, and organization, suggesting its importance in developmental processes and tissue homeostasis. Abnormal expression of SEMA6A has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, where it may affect tumor growth and metastasis. The recombinant protein form of SEMA6A is essential for studying its functional roles and mechanisms in cellular contexts. Through the production of recombinant SEMA6A, researchers can investigate its interactions with receptors and other signaling molecules, providing insights into its biological functions and potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the precise roles of SEMA6A in health and disease could lead to novel strategies for the treatment of conditions influenced by its activity, thus highlighting the significance of SEMA6A in biomedical research.
