TSPAN31

简介
TSPAN31 is a member of the tetraspanin protein family, which has four hydrophobic domains. TSPAN31 mediates signal transduction events and plays a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth, and movement. TSPAN31 is also associated with tumorigenesis and osteosarcoma. TSPAN31 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived TSPAN31 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-mFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TSPAN31, a member of the tetraspanin family, has garnered interest in recent years due to its potential role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and immune response modulation. Tetraspanins are known to form membrane microdomains, facilitating interactions between different proteins and thereby influencing signaling pathways. Research indicates that TSPAN31 may be involved in disease mechanisms, particularly in cancer and autoimmune disorders, although its specific functions remain largely unexplored. Understanding the structure and function of TSPAN31 through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its biological roles and therapeutic potential. These studies can help reveal how TSPAN31 interacts with other proteins and influences cellular behavior, paving the way for potential applications in targeting TSPAN31 in disease treatment or prevention. Further, elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which TSPAN31 operates could also enhance our understanding of tetraspanins as pivotal regulators in various physiological and pathological processes, making it a promising candidate for future research in cell biology and medicinal applications.
